Ohlin Double Adjustables, What Elise/Exige OEM Model?

Can anyone tell me what model(s) Lotus originally equipped with the Ohlin double adjustables (the ones with the brass external reservoirs)? Or was that part always a Lotus Sport option that was never on a car sold by the factory?

While we're at it, was there a series of Elise/Exiges originally equipped with adjustable Bilsteins?

for Ohlins the street cars I believe only the Exige 260 and only some of them had them

for Ohlins the track i think Exige cup cars and 211's

For Bilstens the Exige track pack cars

The limited edition/run of 2006 Elise Sport models also came with d/a Ohlins supposedly valved and sprung for street use running Yoko 048's -- softer springs and different valving than the d/a Ohlins on Cup and 2-11 cars.

What is the difference between these factory versions and the ones you can buy aftermarket?

Say directly from Ohlins or a vendor.

Supposedly the Ohlins supplied by Lotus have their "proprietary" valving developed by the factory.

That is what someone else said... Has anyone dyno tested both to see the difference?

I will get mine on the dyno this winter to see what kind of shape they are in. If they need to be opened up I will take note of the shim sizes. Ohlins USA will set you up with whatever you want so you could pass that info on to them and have the same setup. You would want the same springs as the sport elise to match the valving.

Yes, heard this many times. Don't know the actual difference, tho.
