Rota Slipstream fits on the S240?

i am getting tired of cleaning the OEM wheels, do you guys know if the rota slipstreams sold by balckwatch racing will fit on the s240? I thought i read somewhere the offset need to clear the bigger brakes?

Thanks

No way. There is only 2mm or less clearance to the standard front caliper. The Rotas are a cinch to clean. Cup wheels even easier to clean, with room for big brakes.

brthtakr, cup wheels have no room for big brakes? meaning the 240 already has bigger brakes or it has stock elise brakes but the cup wheels are tighter fit than stock?...

The real question is what brakes does the s240 have? If already having bigger brakes which fill the 16/17's that are stock, then yeah, no way the rota's 15/16 would fit. The rota 16/17 "could" fit however unless you're already sure of design differences which will keep a similar spec'd rim from fitting (which is very possible). The OP also didn't mention if he's looking for 15/16 or 16/17... unless blackwatch only sold the smaller sizes. I've got the 15/16's which fit fine on elises.

I mean the front caliper on standard Elise/Exige. The S240 has larger front calipers than standard. Rotas barely leave any room to the caliper on lesser models. This is measuring horizontally from the side of the caliper to the inside of a "spoke" of the wheel.
