S1 Dymag Wheels

Just put on new Dymags. 15 x 6 fronts weigh about 11 lbs., 16 x 8 rears about 12.5 lbs. Don't know if these fit the Fed Elise. I tried to post a picture, but it didn't work. Any help doing that will be welcomed.

Use the "manage attachments" button on the posting screen. The fronts might be modifiable to fit...the rears have the wrong offset..the rear suspension arms, subframe, damper length and other things were changed for the Federal version and related Toyota engine.

Dymag told me that they make 16" and 17" to fit the S2. The engineer who helped me, Mike Wilson (mike.wilson@dymag.com), also said that they could machine the blanks to achieve the offset desired by the customer - this might make the 16 x 8 workable. They also offered a number of paint color choices.

Some of the Noble guys are going to be using Dymags and the weight savings over the stock wheels is considerable.

Those on the S1 aren't the carbon/magnesium dymag wheels though. I would like to get a set, but don't make 16 & 17s. Although I have heard for the past 2 years that they're supposed to have Lotus sizes. Better not be only 17x8 in the back. How much would each be? Like a grand? I'll wait...

Those are DYMAG magnesium wheels:

1.1k GBP for each wheel.

The carbon/magnesium are 1,7k GBP for a wheel. They have 18s, and are just about to produce 17s.
