I think maybe some people don't realize that roll does not affect the total amount of weight transfer at all. It just changes the timing of the transfer and the distribution front/rear. More roll does NOT mean more overall weight transfer, although it sure looks like it would at a glance. Total weight transfer is actually only a function of track width and CG height.

Yes.

Dropping ride height by 10mm to 120mm, thereby lowering the overall CG, would make sense before proceeding to firmer springs. My body roll focus is to reduce the amount of transfer time.

Lowering should cause additional ride firmness and less roll because of the incremental compression of springs and lower CG.

It would be a good step toward slightly better handling as well as less body roll with my TP equipped Exige.

I don't understand. How does lowering the car compress the springs? Lowering the car by moving the spring perch (whether it be threaded or stock), you are not affecting the spring compression. You are only changing the shock compression. Right?
