Uneven pad wear side to side

Just replace my original pads (with Ferodo DS2500) after 4000 miles (1500 track days). The driver's side both front and rear were worn significantly more than the right side. Like 2-3mm difference!! Has anyone seen this? I don't want to pay to rebuild/replace calipers unless safety issue.

Is there any reason to think that the pads with the highest wear run hotter than the others? Wheel spokes, ducting, ride heights, lots of little things.... That would explain the difference and not be a hardware problem.
