Will 16x8 ET22, 17x9T10 work?

Will 16x8 ET22, 17x8 ET10 work?
For wheels like Work Meister S1 and ROTA D2? (lip sized wheels)

any suggestions?

SSR just released their Type-F in Lotus specific ftiment. The rear is 17x9 et25. That's the most agressive I've seen so far. Can't help on the fronts.

SSR Type F Euro in Elise/Exige Fitments

I'm almost sure you could make it fit, but you'd end up with a poor setup if you actually plan on driving the car. You'll need v2 arms, max camber front and rear, and stretched tires. Oh, and you'd also have to worry about hitting the front clam in a turn, ha!

+1 but looking for some "lip" wheels
but the type-F is crazy light for its size

Your right! almost forgot about the V2Arms from sector111!

looks like i will have to only fit F:16x7.5 +18 and R:17x9.0 +19
to be reasonable ... ...

ps: looking into Work Meister S1, SSR SP1R, or ROTA D2

but the new SSR's Type-F is really tempting! with the quality and price, it beats all of the above (cept ROTA)

you need +42 or so for a 17x9. anything lower than that and it's going to start sticking out of the fender.

I'd like to know what Maypo is as the offset for those 17x9.5s.

So you mean the maximum for the wheel to stick out is 15mm from LSS wheels?(from wheel offset calculator)

If it does not work out I am currently looking into ReVerie's wide fender flares
anyone got the flares on here?(havent seen any here)

I got a more workable and reasonable setup here that might need wider body for the rear(reverie flares needed?) F:16x7.5 +18 (out26mm); R:17x9.0 +19 (out38mm)

Work?

I doubt it, simply because of the existence of the SSR Type F in 17x9 et25. SSR isn't going to mass produce a Lotus specific wheel that won't fit.

That's why I want to see a picture of it. I don't know where they got that offset from.

a 9" +25 will EXTEND 32mm more than the LSS wheel and 20mm more than the RACs. That is pushing it. You'd have to put on some stretched rubber on those wheels not to rub them on the outside I presume. Go out to your car an measure that and tell me it's correct. I have 8" +32 and that sticks out 12mm more than LSS. I would not go more than maybe another 3-5mm.

Based on RAC et, I wouldn't get a 9" wheel unless it were in the 40-45 range.

yeah, I was thinkin that maybe they were using the rover powered elise offsets... I am not sure about the type F's fitting the toyota powered elise either... Although..................

I am looking into the rota torques that 2 wicked is running (front)17x7.5 +30 W/ 215/40-17 and (rear)18x8.5 +25 W/ 255/35-18. Here are the pics of his... Scroll all the way down and get to the last pic

2 Wicked is alive! And it is fast

I'm running 8.5 and 9.5 inch widened toybox wheels (stock TB offset)... they fit fine with stock shocks. With my gt3 shocks, I had to run .190 wheel spacers to allow the rim to clear the shock fitting. It's looks good but is probably too much tire for a track car, just fine for AX and street though...

^ yes, stock Toybox offset. The wheels were widened to the inside of the hub. They're huge.... So technically, the offset changed when the wheels were widened. But if you do that math on it, you'll end up at an offset that works.

so the offset is like 45 or 48 now, but we are wonderring about the 25mm offset... I am a little worried that they won't fit except that 2Wicked has 8.5 with 25mm offset and it looks pretty good...
