Ah, I can do that. Signed up for a track day on Tuesday. Everything will get broken in!! CAn't wait to see what the combo of cf diffuser, 245/40/17 rear yokes and the BWR SC set up will do. Pacific RAceways, here I come.

ACtually, first props go to Sweet DAddy D who provided the film for the door recesses and rocker replacement film, which as I understand it (did not do install myself) was a GREAT replacement for the OEM Starshield.

Unfortunately, the guy installing the door recess film had to make a template, which did not follow the line of the door recess all the way to the front. It looks okay with the door closed, but it could be better. Sweet Daddy D - I think those pieces were about 56" long, and about 3" wide. Can you PM me about sending me some that are say, 56" long by 4 1/2" wide so I can take it back and have it redone perfectly.

I will try to get some photos with door open so everyone can see what I am talking about.

Suffice it say, perfect or not, I LOVE the look. Several people who saw it in person said "thats the way they should come from the factory."

In your estimation, how much weight have you dropped? Just curious...

I like the Larini, but not as much as the 2bular ;^). The aerodynamic difference though of having no exhaust pipes poking into the diffuser is supposed to be pretty significant. Maybe Jim Valentine will do a two pipe above the diffuser exhaust!!!

Roughly, I lost 11 lbs with the Larini, 9 lbs with FF header and cat, 21 to 22 lbs over stock wheels with RAC's, a lb or two with CF diffuser, totalling about 44 lbs, then you have to add back for the BWR SC set up (which I am guessing adds about 15 - 20 lbs net, and a couple of lbs per back tire to go to the 245/40/17 tires so summing it all up I guess about a 20 lbs net loss.

Swistun reminded me - I have the Odyssey 625 which saves another 14 - 15 lbs or so. So, I am a net 34 lbs loss.

Don't forget to add the black vinyl around the air intakes though - at least 1-2 grams per side!

Planning at swapping out the battery? That's like another 10-20 lbs right there, depending on which one you choose...

Again, sweet car.

Ah, I forgot that. I already have the Odyssey 625. I think I saved about 15 lbs there. I wrote up the whole list of everything I have done, and I need to post it because I keep forgetting stuff.

Thanks. Its so clean I couldn't stand it, I guess. I just tapped the front clam on a protruding wood retaining wall and now I have to go find a place to repair it. Bel-Red Auto, I guess.

Thanks for the kind comments. I've done a bunch of stuff you can't see in the photos, too.

agreed! discharing pressure and or introducing holes and objects in the airstream at the diffuser just seems plain silly! but i hate the idea of spending a grand a fancy diffuser... sigh...

I had my rear clam replaced at Haury's. They did an amazing job. When my insurance was stalling on the money they paid out of pocket to get the parts so that I wouldn't have to wait for the insurance to act. Bonus is Zac the VP there has an Elise
