Does the CF body weigh more or less than the factory one? Of course considering how cool it looks, does it really matter?

wow! I don't think those rear toy box rims are 8" wide, are they? They look like 9s to me.

^ +1.

Based on how the side grill vents look wider, the rear clam might be wider than stock.

My uneducated guess says that it's wet-laid and therefore probably heavier.

I would be happily proven wrong as it sure does look purty.

It's dry carbon.... no pricelist on Benetec's website but the same parts are listed on Augment's (another Japanese shop) webby: http://www.augment.jp/

Rear clam alone costs more than USD11,000!

the carbon work on that car is truly amazing... outside of pagani's carbon work, this has to be one of the most flawless jobs i've seen!

My God, that is beautiful...

I especially like the subtle revsions to the front end. Wow! I wonder what the changes do to the drag and downforce compared to our cars.

Stunning! And an interesting solution to prevent the front indicators popping out!

More searching on their site - the diffuser is awesome!

One note - the complete CF car is a 111S - and as such not all components will be common with the Fed Elise/111R (and specifically the front vents and access panels)

is it or is it the reflection off of the door that makes that piece look wider?

I saw this car in Japan and toured Benetec's shop. We actually brought a full kit into the US last year. We also sold a few misc bits from them. The parts are all Dry carbon. Sweet quality and very light....and VERY expensive...even more than our infamous blue radiators.
