If it's getting milky and won't shine with wax, replace it. The surface gets "sandblasted", especially in front of the rear wheel arches and no amount of polishing will make it look decent. It's not difficult to replace...Dave

i just replaced both left and right side on the rear clam with a new product and it's so much better than what was on there, its scary. Was $60 each side installed.

u can see right thru it. no panty lines. u basically have to stare and squint to even know its on there! love it! will do the rest of the car as time and budget allows.

it's sharp!!

A lot of times it just gets dirt embedded in it. People often confuse it with "yellowing" when it is not the case. Try a cleaner on it first. Vinegar sometimes works well. Once the dirt is out of it I Zaino it like the rest of the car. If it's actually worn out and pitted than removal and replacement is the way to go. It is sacrificial and made to be replaced.

I sell replacement paint protection film weekly to board members here at quite excellent prices (lower than listed above for the same parts) and it's quite easy to install yourself.

Also the UPS man just delivered a box to me from site sponsor Adam's polishes with their new product- "clear polish and protection" made for vinyl graphics and paint protection film. It's freezing out today and I have a ton of other work to do, but I'll be trying it out the next time I'm able to give my car a good cleaning and let you guys know how it works.

It is a huge bottle (16 oz) and they do offer 110% guarantee as stated on it so I guess it really is no risk to try it out.

I cannot give you an honest answer on that since believe it or not I've never used Rejex. I've been so happy with Zaino since I discovered it that I've been loyal to them. I will say that I've never heard anything but praise for Rejex though and it seems like it's on par with a lot of the other excellent products out there. I just use car wash soap and a variety of brushes, mitts, etc on my wheels and keep them pretty clean. I have Porterfield R4S pads from Sector 111 that help keep the dust down a little though.

I'm sure rejex is great to use- and that someone with first hand knowledge of both products will chime in soon.

I've actually used both. The zaino has a better 'shimmer' to the end result. The regex has a decent 'polished' look. After 2 months, water no longer beads up with either product. For Zaino, I used SFX/5. For Regex, there is just the one application.

Is your film pre-cut to fit? If so, I'm interested.

xxx - I got replacement rockers from Sweet DAddy and I have to say they looked stunning when I got them on - better than when the car was new. You will be amazed.

To all - I notice that no one seems to be saying one should use polish on the vinyl panels (starshield et al) so I guess what I've been doing, Griots number 3 polish (the mildest), isn't recommended.
