Debris Shield
Hi Talkers:
The Starshield folks have a brush-on product they call Debris Shield. It's a temporary clear removable surface protectant sold by the quart for about $40. Brush it on, wait an hour, brush on the second coat, wait an hour, go driving. The can supposedly does a double-coat of the entire car twice. Or double-coats smaller sections lots of times. I don't know about shelf life. Haven't tried it yet...can is on the way. Might be just the thing for the trackers out there.....or folks, like me, anticipating a long-ish road trip. not too easy to find info about Debris Shield on their website: http://www.starshieldarmor.com/ but the person on the phone (866 NO CHIPS) sounded knowledgeable about it. Anyway, she took my $$. best, Terry

Debris Shield Product Info
Here's some product info from http://www.jtuned.com/industry/industry_starshield.aspx
"Star Shield Armor has recently begun selling a complimentary product to the Invisible Bra called Debris Shield. Debris Shield is a water-based solution that is applied to a vehicle and becomes a transparent protective film when it dries. The film peels off easily and does not leave residue or harm the paint. Debris Shield is ideal for long road trips (for people who drive their car to tracks or car shows) or track events during which a vehicle is subject to extreme road conditions. In one demonstration I was given, half of a small piece of body panel was coated with Debris Shield and the other half was left uncoated. When the solution dried, the piece was placed in a rock machine where rocks tumble around inside a sealed chamber. After a few minutes, the body panel was taken out. The Debris Shield was peeled off and it was clear the side that had coating was undamaged, while the other side had numerous chips and dents from the rocks. Star Shield Armor recommends using the Debris Shield with the Invisible Bra for additional protection, especially in harsh environments. One quart of Debris Shield is $39.99 and will provide two coats for two to three applications."

Has anyone confirmed whether or not it is safe to apply this product over the starshield?

both (products) have the same mother, it shouldn't be a problem.
I guess you could call her and ask: (866) NO CHIPS .
