The factory has two types of quilted stitching, Diamond & Rectangular but, you will need to get the touring pack in order to get any of the quilted stitchings which include: center leather console, shift knob, seat and door trim insert with Elise type face embroidered on the head rest, a $1,295 charge + the touring pack ($1,350)
I ordered mine with the Diamond stitching and it was delivered with out it :wallbang: I am picking up the car on Thursday and I will have to go back for them to replace the seats later. They must not do this too often.
LOL that is my car. I mean literally, thats the one I bought. Its the only yellow diamond pattern they had. I bought it 2 days ago. I think its kind of funny. Diamond pattern is nice, it includes leather shift knob and leather console
This was from my first experience with the Elise in 2006. At the time I could not have known how rare or special this interior would be. It also spoiled me to the full leather interior and the beautiful, diamond stitching. In my opinion, this is the interior that makes the Elise feel like a proper world-class exotic sportcar.
too bad Lotus stopped doing this during the later MY cars.
