So can you walk us through how to get the side panels off? I know about the cubby screws for the small panel and the two inside. What's next?

So is there really a channel to run wires underneath the passenger airbag that would not inhibit the operation of the passenger airbag?
Also after now seeing the dash apart, do you think there is a better place to run stereo wires from the headunit to the center channel or the side sill?

nasty rattle (metal clip)... and lotus was nice enough to keep my alarm ecu in cobra's plastic wrapping.. they also left a zip tie over the plug harness.. the touring foam didn't help either.. the dash took about 1.5 hr to take apart.. putting it back together took the rest of the afternoon.. you must break the airbag cover to remove the side part and the center part.. no worries though, new plastic screws are 1 buck a piece at the dealer.. |
