Elise Hard Top - LotusTalk

I have just bought a hard top from my Local, well nearly local Lotus dealer in Vancouver It's a pull off a new car. I paid $2,700.00 CND including having it painted the correct colour.

Is this a deal or not? it sounded good to me.

It's not the best deal... Gentry Lane in Toronto was going to sell me one for $1400, get somebody to paint it for you $300?.

Weissach is not cheap.

Well I guess I have paid to much, however the new one is $4500 and no 2nd hand ones seam available, so close to half money didn't sound bad.

There was one for sale here for about $1500 US about 2 weeks ago or so, cinesnow was selling. Almost all the parts come up, but you have to be willing to be patient - it seems like almost everything cycles through every 2 months or so.
