Fleabay wing?

Has anyone run the ebay carbon fiber wing on an elise? The auction says it is for elise and exige but I dont know how it would mount on an elise.

Anyone know of other wing options for an elise? I want to do the full downforce thing, front and rear

Be careful buying from them. They say carbon fiber in the ad. They even confirmed carbon fiber when I asked them to make sure it was 100% carbon fiber. The fact is that it isn't 100% carbon fiber. There are a few people who have purchased from them and the products came in being carbon fiber on top of fiber glass.

Just keep that in mind.

also it is made for the exige.so the angle on the mounts are setup for mounting to the exige tailgate.when you install it onto the elise engine cover.it puts the wing at a very steep angle.witch looks like it would stall.not producing down force.most all these china made carbon parts are one ply on the outside.then all frp.the carbon does look nice on most of this stuff though.

Not my thing.

500$ for a useless part is money wasted. I would either buy a real wing or a good looking one. This one is neither functionnal nor good looking (on an Elise) imho.

Gut is probably the only cosmetically pleasing wing that works.

Other functionnal wing are big and look like a race car wing. Reverie and APR are the two more known. Denang makes a nice one but costs more than the Reverie!

I'm working on a pretty cool design. I've made what is essentially a GUT base and attached an APR type spoiler. I hope to have it on my car soon. I will post pics and if people are interested, I can make some more. I wanted to stay away from drilling the clam if I could.

Check out Sector 111 and Blackwatch Racing for functional, good looking parts of high quality. Maybe the GUT wing would work for you?
