Lambo doors we built on a Lotus
Hello , heres a few pics on a lotus we just completed . Im new here and we specialize on cosmetics on vehicles and suspensions. The lotus has 90 degree doors and are not welded to the vehicle . It can be put back to factory specs . Prices for this kit installed is @ $4600 . We also give a liftetime warranty on the shocks . It takes off approx and extra 15-20 lbs. Average time to complete the job is 2-3 days . There is no bolt on kit for the lotus but we modify the kit to be a bolt on . It is a autoloc kit .

You will get mixed opinions on this, but I guess it looks better than the last one that was posted here (which the door blocked half the space to get in/out).

Interesting. Especially since Autoloc sells a kit they designed and built specifically for the Lotus Elise: 2007 Lotus Elise Vertical Door Kit Even more so, it retails for 2000$. For example, here is the first set on google for $2084: 90 degree Automatic Kit AutoLoc Vertical Doors [o1970] Autoloc Custom Lotus Elise Having read the instructions myself, I'm curious how many hours you're billing to reach 2500$ worth of installation? Even at the going rate of 100$ an hour you're looking at 25 hours to unhook some doors (I've taken an Elise door off in under an hour), reinstall them, re-run the wires, and adjust. |

I am impressed. The door opening is wider and everyone knows the doors open way too wide in Elises. Very easy to hit the car next to you. That's really the purpose of these doors.
I'm also impressed that it shaves a lot of weight. Lastly, I'm impressed that it can be converted back to stock easily. You should really refer to them as gull-wing doors or something other than Lambo doors.

No it isn't spot on. V12 Lamborghinis have them. That's a V10 in that picture. These doors provide a functional use on the V12 Lamborghinis.
