Lotusport floor mats and Lotus trim shop order

Hi guys,

Got the floor mats today, they're really quite nice.

I'd also ordered the door inserts to be done in yellow leather, unfortunately somewhere along the way the order was mixed up so I have door panels done in beautiful yellow leather. I'm sure the mixup will get sorted and don't know if the vendor will want me to try to sell or not, not sure what I can do with them. What a drag waited about 8 weeks for these

Here's a pic of the mats, quite nice.

Larry and babak,
The floor mats I believe were 51 ukpounds, bought through hangar 111. I think you can order through US dealers, but Lotus Atlanta didn't know what I was talking about. The door panels worked out to be 100 ukp, all told including air freight for all of it ended up being about $330 USD.

Here's the door panels, beautiful leather work, but a bit overpowering in a yellow car, I had wanted just the teardrops done in yellow perfed.

Dang Chris nice to know I'm not the only one waiting. After two months my door panels came in. They messed up on the finish. Two more months and they got it right. But they had the dealer pull the inserts. Now I've been waiting two weeks for them to get the mounts to to install the insert to the door panels. Also got a instrument barnacle, black perforated leather with yellow trim... it will be nice to finally get installed.

Not even if you "gave" them to me. Went with yellow leather for the shifter and hand brake boot. Also had the HVAC surround painted SY. They used yellow thread in the door panel (black perf leather) with black alcantara for the inserts. Didn't want to over do with the yellow. At first was going to do the instrument barnacle in yellow but chicken out.

HI Peck,
Yep thought about that, but don't think the yellow is a close enough match to look good side by side. Think someone with a black car could do it. But at the end of the day, I'll probably ship em back if they want em.

Cutting Hole in New Floor Mats?

What did you use to cut the holes?

Any problems with sizing/tear out of the new holes so far? I'm asking because that is why I had to replace the old ones. The holes ripped out.
