Manual Window Removal/Install Process

Just some quick photos to show how to remove the manual windows, and you should be able to install or retrofit the manual windows based on the info below.

When I remove the window track from the window, Mine was able to stay up via fricition, I am not sure if that's by design or just the way my car was, you'll need the window to stay up to have enough room to work in the door and remove/install the mech.

Next week, how to install/remove power windows

Child's play compared to the Devil's own electric windows in my old Elan. Mullen and others can attest to this. One of the reasons I opted for the manual windows in the Elise, as I cannot imagine Lotus got too much smarter on windows over the years....

any update to this? I'm thinking about getting a non-touring car and I want power windows.
I'd like to know the final cost breakdown for parts too.
