I appreciate everyone's comments! I'm really enjoying the different look, and in the future I may take SwingLo's suggestion and mount something useful in the blank space where the start button used to be.
Obviously SwingLo wants you to do his car next.
When it comes to mods + alcantara SwingLo is a legend on this site.
Definitely, love his interior so much as well as yellow99s'.
It does not require you to make it a track only car.
For sure... didn't mean to imply that. I should have said my personal preference for my street-oriented car at this time is to keep the key because it doesn't bother me enough to mess with the ignition wiring, etc. right now -- BUT there is a cool factor for sure, no matter where the car is driven. I tend to flip-flop like a netted fish on decisions like this, so who knows what I may do next time I rip the interior out.
I know why I would like it.
That said, I'm not sure I could reach the button in that position either.
Hmm, maybe the button could be mounted somewhere closer: perhaps, for example, the side of the console next to the e-brake. That could turn out pretty sweet... and you wouldn't have to move the hazard button.
Those are some cool looking indicator and wiper levers
Thx RBH! I forget where to get them, though... *cough* link
