MudFlap
Has anyone tried to lower the front mudflap?
I have almost 500 miles on the Elise. Sunday I drove about 70 miles and returned with lots of road tar stuck to the rocker area under the doors on both sides. It was about 4 times as much as I had picked up on the other 400+ miles. Since it was all along the rocker area, not just immediately in front of the rear wheels, it seems to be flicking off the front tire and under the mudflap. When I look at the front side of the mudflap that faces the tire, it is clean. It does not appear to have stopped anything. Apparently the Mudflap is mounted so high that most of the junk goes under the mudflap. On my Elise, the Mudflap behind the center of the tire is mounted so that the bottom is about 4 inches above the ground. Dale |

Good idea.
Maybe Shino or somebody else can come up with a better mouse (dirt) trap. The flaps are molded so not exactly easy to replace with a piece of plastic...
