For Charlie and anyone else who ordered the same time or after. I spoke with the President, Robert, he said he doesn't have the mirrors, they are out of stock. He gave me the phone number for Diane that handles orders/vendors and I left her a voice mail for more info on the eta. I will post once I hear from her. Robert wasn't positive but he thought another week.

Side note for newer people.

Common joke about taking the Lotus into the dealer for some issue and being told "They All Do That Sir." As in

Nope. I did.

I have 10,500 miles on my car. Only 5 of those (from the shipper's lot to the Lotus dealer) were without Multivex mirrors.

Ohhhh, I've heard that twice in 4 months

. I, yes I, looked under my front clam to find a bolt dangling, tightened it and no more rattle. This is why I need to learn how to change my oil and perform various other mechanical duties on my own car!

Well Diane called back and she apologized for the delay but it will be 2-3 weeks.

The glass company will be off next week and she doesn't know if they will ship back to her tomorrow or not. She feels bad. It just gives us all more time to study the thread. I think I will go the replacement route. It sounds good anyway

more patience....

ahhh, i missed the stripe ! frank always said my laptop screen is too small i can see it now on the desktop.

i always think it symbolises a psychotic staring sheep skipping eerily, like something from a john carpenter movie.

So much good info! For me the sheep symbolize being mentally stressed beyond the breaking point like your car in the shop for any amount of time & you can't lose your temper because there's only one shop in town that can fix it and all you can do now is skip rope like a wide eyed zombie sheep??

Back on subject. Get the Multivex Mirrors, you'll be glad you did. Many people don't realize just how good they really are. I've had lots of people sit in my car, and declare that now that they've seen them, they will order them. They really are worth the money - easily...

No, I did that too. Plus a mirror mod, a front clam protection kit from 2sporty, a car cover from California Car Company, two car dusters (one outside, one inside), and Forza Motorsport 2 with the Xbox 360 racing wheel and Buttkicker Gamer to practice.

Got mine installed last week and love them! I used the standard bit of black silicone on the back instead of the adhesive stickers that came on it.
