I think any modification which enhances the looks, while doing nothing in any sort of performance aspect, is considered rice.

I think there has to be some line to cross... between what is "generally acceptable" to what is generally accepted as rice. For instance, swapping 2005 seats for the 2006 probax would rarely be considered "rice". Subtle visual enhancements are usually considered just that... subtle visual enhancements. Of course one person's "subtle" may trigger a gag reflex in someone else so YMMV.

The more over-the-top ones, like TV's in the back of your headrests...

, blue interior lights, underbody neons, huge wings (when you aren't racing), Type R stickers, etc - I'd say safely fall into the rice category.

Not saying I've never been guilty of blue lights, but that was in a car more usually associated with rice anyway (DSM)

Ok, let me preface that you get +1 for balls. You seem to have them, and they are brass.

Don't take this the wrong way, but why are your cars being prepped to please others or be the butt of some sort of joke? Can't they just be cars? Why would you put something on your car to force some 19 year old ricer to give you sh*t over a GTR badge at a gas station?

I think if your cars could talk, they would just ask to be your cars, not conversation pieces or "flair". You know dogs can can tell when you're laughing at them, I don't know if cars can too.

except I curse like a sailor....not because its cool, it just happens when you start working as a mechanic at a young age. (now retired from that profession). I'd never plaster that crap on any car, but especially my beloved Lotus. I forsee an egg or 2 hitting his car...people don't like seeing that crap.
