New Splitter and Valve Cover

Yowee...what a little yellow powdercoating can do for one's soul. Now finally Dave's daughter can go to town on the plastic top lol.

So on the splitter, I used to have the GUT which I very much liked. It definitely worked, provided downforce, and protected my clam from sure destruction several times over. The bottom front lip of it looks like it's been through war. While at Forcedfed I noticed the blue car they own had a splitter that seemed even more functional and didn't let any air between it and the bottom of the car's front lip. Basically it's a sammich of a splitter form and a carbon plate - all bolted on so tight with hardware you can step on the splitter and it moves the whole front of the car.

On the way home (just drove for first time with splitter) I swear the car is almost too light now on the back lol. High speed sweepers usually registered some mild understeer on my car before and now I pretty much don't feel anything...it's working, very well. Before I head out tomorrow on a drive I'm going to go up a click or two in the front because it's a bit oversteery...amazing how such little changes make a noticeable difference. But in short this is all good to know that even with 205's/245's the car has plenty of grip left to give up front.

I saw a red one there...apparently yours was getting a ton of attention from the ladies lol. I got there pretty late and of course forgot my camera - was looking to get all the go-go girls next to our cars.

All I did was answer the phone and say "hell yeah!" when Casey said you want a yellow cover for the engine? Temps...whatever the Sector 111 ones are I don't believe I remember what they were. They aren't too blue and are plenty bright. BTW what happened to the HID driving lights they were going to have?

LOL! Oh cool, I have the same HIDs - they're 6k. The driving lights? I didn't know they were going to have those. I remember seeing HID high beams, but never put them up for sale.

Wow, looks cool Kaz. What color scheme are you going to paint the valve covers?
