Hey, Maggie--Beautiful result and a classic look with just a touch of pizzaz from the KG pinstripes.

I think the green cars really do lend themselves nicely to a stripe treatment and sooner or later I will break down and do it myself. Never realized that the difference in LRG and BRG can be pronounced until I saw my BRG next to MikeinAlex's LRG at Kyle's last week.

Enjoy Durham--great community with many things going on to stimulate one's life.

This is by far my favorite striped car... Can you please post some pictures of the front and other angles... I'm seriously considering doing something very similar to my car in the near future...

I think a few things work well with it...I like how the line of the stripe is straight front to back, the touch of making the uprights on the wing black along with the matte black oval around the tail lights that makes lotus pop while framing exige s by stopping the stripes then continuing them. I would also like to see the front.

On an s240 I struggle with the lines as the roof scoop is wide and causes the line to be off...the examples I have seen have really wide stripes which I don't like as much as the images above.

How wide is the black stripes and the red?
By guesstimation I would say 6" black stripes and 1" red...

Yeah, those are the perfect stripes, if you ask me. Thanks for posting the pics!

Sadly, I don't think they'd look all that great on an Elise. The hatch and scoop on the Exige really set 'em off.

Cool race car design... I really like the rear end with the black bottom 1/2.

Don't have pictures yet with my new front clam. Although it looks identical, just without the damage on the plinth and canard.

I got most of my stripes done last weekend, but still have to finish the rear end... I'm actually debating on if I want to do it because it looks relly nice with just the tail light area painted black... Here's a quick cell phone pic from above...

Looks very nice! Any challenges?
I think I would take them at least up to the black oval so it feels a little more balanced. I still have not recieved my stripes that I ordered several weeks ago...ugh.

I was actually thinking about doing that... easy enough to take them off if I don't like it...

Cutting the roof was a bit of a challenge, still have a few bubbles that I'm hoping the sun will take care of for me... Also trying to make a strait line on this car is about a b[tch.... Other than that the 90'F at 90% humidity kicked my butt and it took me about 6 hrs to get it done up to the point it's at... I could probably do it faster now that I've done it for the first time...

I think I'm going to remove the lotus sport decal on the windscreen as it kind of clashes with the red... Anybody else think so?

Great job Dragon! 6 hours? Not bad at all. How do my customers install them faster than me? lol.

I wouldn't worry about the couple bubbles yet. I'd just give them a few days in the sun. If they don't come out then use an insulin needle on the edge of the bubble. It's better to just let them work out on their own though.

As far as the Lotus Sport part goes, you can just take off the yellow part and I can send it to you in red (or white) instead. Then it will all match.

Great pics guys.

I'm thinking of striping my Elise to differentiate it from my Exige. Either dual black or dual white stripes.

The Aston Martin dealer in Orlando just acquired the new Lotus franchise and they called me up to go down and stripe a couple cars for them. I forgot my camera but I took a couple pics with theirs. Being in the service area they didn't come out great, but I'll try to post them later or if they put any new pics up on their website I'll post those. Basic black stripes on yellow car, and black with red accents on storm titanium.

Well here are the couple cars I did this past week for the new Lotus of Orlando. They are on the lot for sale if they strike your fancy. Put 1000 miles on my car, met a bunch of Lotus people, had a blast, and drove an Aston Martin DBS (a proper stick shift one too). Good times.
