Paint chipping

Anyone else notice small little paint chips on the hood of their car? Its an 07, but I've had it since July. Just noticed it. Should I just use the touch-up paint?

...yes, these cars tend to chip badly due to their low position and soft paint - many people use protective clear vinyl film, some people just live with it, but touch-up paint is a losing battle if you drive your car very much...

...i've just had mehve's unprotected nose and rocker panels refinished after seventy-odd-thousand-miles of extensive scarring, and plan to apply vinyl film...
