Paint protection film installer on East Coast...

Hey, I am looking for an installer in the Delmarva Peninsula.
I bought the film from SweetDaddydelcious aka Keith (chuforia).
I live in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Any reputable installer within 2 hour drive or so (one-way)

Robert

You might want to try these guys:

Frontguard
Mobile Service
Annapolis, MD 21401
443-864-8448

If they give you any run around about installing "someone else's product" let them know it's the same material and have them call me.

I called those guys and they only use 3m Scotchguard, but they have no problem installing Avery film.

Is Avery what you sell?

Matt at FrontGuard said 3m film has a true clearcoat whereas Avery only has a top-coat which isn't as thick.
Is this true? Is 3m better for this reason.

They shouldn't. Because Avery is easier to install. It stretches more. I guess they were incorrectly listed then, must just be an installer.
I think he is giving you a bit of marketing in favor of his product, and I can't fault a business guy for that.
If you take a sample of both and compare them side by side, you'll pick the Avery every time. It's clearer, less texture, stronger, holds up better, etc. if you stretch till it breaks it's about 3 times as strong as 3M. If you try to punch a key through it, you'll be more worried about stabbing the guy holding the material stretched out if you get it to go through, etc. I used to sell 3M and there is more than one reason why I switched to Avery. Cost is the same, so that isn't one of them. They are both 8 mils thick. Clearcoat/topcoat Tomāto Tomäto. They are both pretty much the same, but it seems a lot more stuff gets embedded in 3M film and they turn yellow over time where the Avery holds up much better in that regard as well.
I guess it's good we all believe in what we sell. My belief comes from dealing with both products though. You see how Starshield holds up. That is 3M. It's a good product. Wouldn't you like a better one though?
