Painting The Headlight Bezel ? - LotusTalk

Now that Corvettes have stationary headlights under a clear cover I've noticed that their headlight bezel is body color whereas our Elises are black.

Has anyone here seen or experimented with the appearance of a body color headlight bezel on an Elise/Exige ?

you have have to cut the headlight assembly apart, and then 'glue' it back together the black plastic is attached to the clear lens

made me think of mascara....
take a picture, photoshop it with the details and see what it looks like?

My body shop tried....
They were concerned that it would not go back correctly.
