lol i too live in socal, but since my car sometimes has to sit outdoor overnight, i would use the wipers and washers to clean the windshield of dried morning dew + inland empire dust/dirt

i will have a look at the PIAAs when its time to change blades

and +1 for removing em if you dont use em, keep em in the trunk tho, just in case

Valeo 24" here. Works well, and I think it looks better than the 26" blade, which looked a bit cartoonish on such a tiny car.

While I cannot offer any advice about windshield wipers for the Elise/Exige I will strongly recommend clay barring, then a paint cleaner such as Optimum Poliseal, Klasse All In One Zaino All In One, and then a quality wax or sealant such as Optimum Optiseal, Collinite 476S, P21S, or Zaino z2 pro in order to minimize the need to use windshield wipers. Rain will literally fly off and your visibility will be greatly improved.

havn't had a wiper on the car in a year. no washer fluid reservoir either
