It was parked outside at work in the shades in the morning but in the sun most of the day... the shield stayed on. Looking good so far.

glad you like it. I will just keep them in stock for a while. I will be able to ship more on Monday/Tuesday.

I think it is cheap insurance and you really dont even know it is there. When I was driving last Sunday, a rock hit me on the side of my neck. So this is the first time that I have had a rock come into the drivers compartment.

It is not the $250 that the glass costs. It is the time (for me lots of time as the Lotus dealer is 4-5 hours away) that it takes the car off the road and the cost to install it. Driving season is so short here in Buffalo.

Installed mine today...... Looks great!!! Not planning to test it, but I suspect it will work perfectly.

Steve

edit: at least I'm not going to throw any rocks at it, but driving with it in place was perfect!

sorry for the delay. First Class Mail would be $12 extra. Priority International would be $30 extra.

This would be shipped at your risk unless you wanted to add insurance if it is available. There is no way for me to track it internationally.

I would email an image of the postal receipt.

I've been leaving the top on when I go on drives with my car club to avoid the window breakage... rocky desert + line of sports cars + sticky tires = rock peppered Elise I would probably have a broken rear window by now if it weren't for EliseTalk and others talking about the problem.

I'll take one... you have e-mail.

P.S. Another cool thing you can do with these is to have it tinted for daytime driving/parking and you can remove it at night when you put the top back on for better visibility

It should have on the paper I included with the shield. Maybe I forgot to include it in the last draft.
