Yes ,I'v done lots of reading about NuBax / ProBax, Trying to find a set of seats, Maybe used black ones. Thinking of installing them in my Pantera, its very tight inside too, Probax seat will fit.

ahh well they only just came out on the exige here in the last month or so, so you might have to find someone whos swappping out seats too, best place to be looking though, try exiges.com too

but so far they're too comfy to give up!

good luck and welcome to ET

Garage
Nice car. I would keep checking back. It would not surprise me to find someone selling some take offs, including a dealership that upgraded to track seats. You could also buy a set of new seats from www.lotusgarage.com

There are some very shady characters in the Lotus retail business.

Oh... posting a photo of a Pantera is a sure way to guide me over to Pantera International to browse the ads. Noticed a photo of yours in the gallery as best of show winner.

off i go back outside again !

alrighty i left my tape measure at work so a combination of a steel rule and eyeballing it

lower seat at the widest position from side to side is 44cm
depth of the whole seat from hither to yon 65cm
backrest widest part is 50cm
i had trouble measuring the rails since my damn ruler wouldnt fit, they look around 41x40cm

i'll have to wait til the morning to get better measurements unless someone else pops them up first.

haven't checked yet but according to the lotus bumpfh the new seats have created more room (can't recall if that included vertically), i haven't noticed it being any smaller, if anything it does seems roomier.

Hmmm. Well if the driver is actually sitting taller, one might have marginally better ingress/egress too.

I have an '05 but have tried the '06 seats (just sitting, not driving). In the '05 it seems like you are sitting in the seat and in the '06 it feels like you are sitting on the seat. I would have to drive an '06 for a few hours to determine if they are more comfortable. The '05 seat is comfortable for me. You know a seat is good when you're in the car for a few hours and haven't thought about the seat. That's the way the '05 seat is for me.
