Removing starshield

Hi guys , just a question , sorry of it`s already answered .

How can i remove the starshield from an AW elise without leaving any marks on colour or fiberglass ?

is this possible ?

can i make it by my self or it s important to visit any bodywork specialist ?

Thanks a lot

Heat gently with a hair dryer and peel back on itself, ie. not straight upwards. Clean off any residue with tar remover, quick cut, polish and wax and it should be like new (in theory!)

Just be aware, Aspen White without StarShield will get plenty of pits in the paint - which will look even more like sh@t...

Are you sure the starshield isn't just yellowing? It will do that and will show on the white cars. It can be replaced under warranty for yellowing.

You should be able to have it replaced under warranty

The gentleman who previously owned my car had it replaced under warranty for yellowing. Can't even see it now–except where my arqray turned the passenger rear super deep yellow
