Securing Temporary Wires in Cockpit

I’d assumed everyone did this, but found I was wrong.

While I hard-wire everything I can, given a dislike for loose wires, there are some (e.g. navigation power cord) which get moved from car to car/rental.

Simply put a tie-wrap around the offending wire and stick it between any two handy dash panels. Not the airbag cover, I think, but almost anywhere.

This, to me, is better than gluing the little wire holders where they will leave a permanently discolored mark.
