Steering wheel Badge

I ordered the black and silver steering wheel badge from trickster, and was wondering if i remove the one that's in there already, will it set anything off? Is there a certain way of doing it not to damage anything?

LMK

thanks
Jarett

I ordered it too. You go first, and let me know what happens.

Pics to follow of steering wheel badge

Since I have a drivers air bag that went off I can tell you the badge is held on by two tabs bent over in the rubber on the backside. I can take some pics tonight of what it looks like.

Nick, The badge is 38mm. A combination euro, non-airbag wheel with a black and silver insert, along with the bits to convert, would be the perfect solution for me

Here it is, the badge is actually held on by 4 metal tabs. You can't get to it from behind as it is all part of the airbag assembly and you can not dismantle it without damaging it.

I don't think I would try to pry the badge off for fear of ripping the rubber.

With the wheel and bonnet badge I think suits the car.
