SweetDaddy's black wheel decals DO fit Rota Slipstream center caps...

SweetDaddy's black and white Lotus wheel decals won't normally fit on Rota Slipstream center caps...

But you can make it work with about 45 minutes of work...
  1. Pry off the black metal "Rota decals" with a small flat screwdriver and discard.
  2. Use "Goof Off" to remove any leftover glue residue.
  3. Put the center cap in a vise pointing up and go to town sanding the bigass convex bump down so that it will be flat as can be. I used a Mouse electric hand sander with 100 grit sandpaper, then 400 for finishing.
  4. Dust off and rinse. Let dry.
  5. Spray on a primer coat. Let dry.
  6. Spray on a couple glossy black paint coats. Let dry in between.
  7. Carefully apply decals in the center of the center caps - remove any wrinkles!

There will be about 3/16" of a circular border around the outside of your decals - no biggie

Looks great with the flat black finish... I'm having second thoughts on powder coating these wheels shiny silver. Comments?

These are going to rock at the track!

Tada!

Nice work; look perfect as is.

I don't think the center cap fits the rear wheels when mounted.

I would also not advise running at the track with the center caps, after the brakes and wheels heat up the center caps do not stay in the wheel. Lost both my fronts that way...

Sounds like I may have to glue them in then - perhaps break off the mounting tabs... no biggie.

I'll know in a couple of weeks when rubber is mounted... 225-45-15 / 245-45-16 Hankook Z214's!

Might need to get some pcv or something to extend the rears out too. If you find a good solution let me know. I hate showing my rusted hubs when at the track.

Same size R888 and RA1s I run. I love em!

Thanks for posting!
I still have these available in 1.5", also used for the steering wheel and engine cover. Currently out of stock on the 2" ones which fit the factory wheels.

Ok... got them mounted without incident...

But the rear "spindle hub post" is too tall and pops the badge right out...

Fronts fit like gloves... rears would only stay if you have an extender of some sort... yet another project
