TWRD Matte CF Rollbar Cover

I think a few people have this or the shiny CF installed already. Just wanted to post pics, it's a really great piece can't wait to get it on the car - this plus the matte top I already have will effectively make the car look lower with the all black top. I think I've settled in simply getting some vinyl stripes put on so if I ever sell the parts they won't be painted a color the buyer might not want.

Much thanks to Andy and Jacob

If that matches the weave of the CF hardtop I think you can expect those sales to increase as well. Nice work!

Can't wait to see it on your car Peter!

For those interested this is a 06-09 piece, It can fit on an '05, but you'll have to do a little bit of modification work for the third brake light.

OEM 7.6 lbs
TWRD 5.4 lbs

matte $850
wet $800

it's almost a little Tesla style having the carbon roll bar cover... accept the roofline on the elise is just plain nicer looking. I agree, the car does look lower. Interesting effect. I think it makes sense to do both the roof and the roll bar cover. It has a nice stock look to it. I say that as a compliment as in it wont look to the average passer by as if you just slapped some carbon bits on it... it looks like that's how it might come from the factory, nice and clean.
