Weird interior lamp. light goes on when door opened in up position
OK. This is weird. My interior lamp when it is rocked in the up position (face of light angled upwards) goes on when the doors are opened. In the down posistion nothing happens. I have had it in the down position forever. Recently I was getting the 4 beeps when disabling the alarm with 1 flashing light on the dash (access panel, door, trunk or interior lamp misset) so I checked the interior lamp. I am pretty sure that previously in the down position it went on when the door opened.

Have you removed it and then reinstalled it upside down?
