I run a higher # as most of the time with a new club the lower numbers are already taken, and its a PITA to have to change # for an event. I dont know if 2 digits are required, or if 3digits are ok for hpde, in the race groups we can only use 2 digits. I took # 92( a high oddball # choice, and not one that is associated with anyone famous currently running that I know of), and have not had any conflict yet. when my car was # 15, I had to change it every time out it seemed. its now "my" reserved # in my local race clubs, and when i travel i dont think i should run into conflict. I did get duplicate numbers made up, so i can change out to 29, 62, 26,........................ect. if I need to for the weekend. fishguy

Blue tape will make a 3 digit number a two or one digit number at an event if you get there and your number is taken. The yellow 12 on Waydui's car was blue taped into a single digit for an event shown in another thread here.
So say you pick 456. you could be 456, 45, or 56, or maybe even 46 For the black Exige with the shield (he used regular vinyl though not static which makes changing the letters on a background much easier- the static will want to stretch) I gave numbers 1,7, and two others, we'll 2 and 9 or something. So he can take his pick, change them, whatever. They are sized so any combination will fit on the shield. I would not try that with static though. |

Yep. Got a post it note on my desk. I've got 4 paid for jobs I need to get out the door, then I can mess around with some new designs. If no hot little piece of @ss walks in the door before 7 and invites me out tonight then I'll probably go home and get them knocked out this evening.

Here ya go! The pair will be on their way Tuesday. One of them had a slight imperfection I want to redo, and of course I ran out of clear static film on Sunday night so I have to pick up more in the morning. These change color and reflect light different as light and viewing angle changes. Michael, your Lotus themed 223's are in the mail as well. Please send some pics of them on the Exige when you get them. If anyone wants the original orange 69's pictured hit me up. When I get some spare time I'm going to make up some others so I can show you guys some of the other unique materials. |

All right, I posted this image 2 days ago. Not one comment has been forthcoming. Is this the rainbow Elisetalk or the straight one???

Sweetdaddy, are you sure you haven't confused me with someone else? My number is 111. My class is XP. I thought we were talking about gold for my BRG car. You don't have my address to send anything. ![]()

I was thinking about number choices earlier and decided that 19 and 91 were the best, because you can turn them upside down to make 61 and 16. I guess 66/99 works, too.

I'm sure I can.
Here's the deal though. I would love to just spend all day making designs for people to see if they end up liking them. Unfortunately I'm just not in a position to spend that much time working for free. I'm usually a couple days behind on the pre-paid jobs I'm working on, so it's usually get hard to get caught up to that spending my time designing for free mode. Not trying to be rude or anything, but I'm sure you understand. But if you decide you want to get a set, just PM or e-mail me and give me some idea of a starting point, and I'm sure I can make you happy. |

Chris,
If you decide to go with a number combination like that (which certainly is a good idea) Just let me know that's what you have in mind so I can use a font that works that way. Like this style "1" or Seriff fonts won't work that way, but there are plenty of sans seriff fonts that will |

I can't wait to get my samples. There are just so many ways you can make the sixty nine for me. Thank you for your patience and persistence Keith.
