Wide Body 300RR Kit (taking orders)

We are making the 300RR wide body which will replace the existing body on the Lotus Elise/exige. We are taking over the project as the other person has sold his car. We can replicate the exact look allowing for wider wheels front to back while maintaining a proportional styling to the cars frame.

They have assured me the car will look exactly like the 300RR. They will be using my car to prototype the mold, which means my original paint and parts will be damaged to make this happen. They have assured me that the kits will be of Lotus quality. The agreement states that the prototype will take anywhere from 3-7 months from the start date. I won't allow them to start until we have all 10 orders in.

Each kit requires a $2500 deposit by way of cashiers check or money order. I'm taking deposits now, but am not doing anything with them until we have all 10 orders ready to go. The project will remain on hold until we have everyone ready to go.

Serious inquiries only please.

Kit includes:
Front Clam
Rear Clam
Side Panels

Does not include:
-rear wing
-hatch (will reuse stock hatch)
-splitters
-badges
-wheels

PM me if interested

$5800 is a steal, assuming good quality. I think you should have this buy in the bag.

Just so I'm clear, this would fit an '05 Elise, and then have an Exige rear clam style? Understand the lid itself is not included. Also, you say 'we' are taking deposits...who are we?

We have been assured nothing but the best of quality from the manufacturer. Yes it will fit the 05 Elise. My car is an 05 and it's being built based on my car. When I refer to "we" I'm talking about the manufacturer.

The rear clam will look like an Elise at the top and be styled after the 300RR Exige from the lid downward.

Here is a Photoshop drawing to give you an idea. Please don't analyze this image too much. It was drawn very quickly.

My same question. I am for sure in if it fits the 07 Exige S. No way to work in the roof so that it has that exact scoop?

You know i'm still in Joe. Just make sure you get ahold of me as I am frequently out of town. I can't beleive more people are not jumping to get in on this. Can't wait to be one of the first ten to have this kit. How soon will you be getting the splitters and possibly............the GT3 spoiler made? How much ground clearance do you expect to have with this kit or is the clearance going to change?

Will the 300rr-style access panels be incorporated into the top of the front clam?

I am currently considering about it. I can only get one toy per year, I already got my toy for year 07, so in 08 I get another toy, but I can't decide, looks or fast?? I am leaning towards fast first, so that means in 09 I will get this...

Anyway, for Elise owner, without the rooftop, it will look really really weird if it's coupled by Elise roof as it doesn't have the opening scoop.

Wow - That's pretty. Too bad I don't have an Exige or I might be thinking about it.

Padded safely in a crate...

shipping is estimated around 250.00-350.00 by way of crate in the US
We won't know for sure until the crates are being built. Several clams can be shipped to a central location to save $ though.

Shipped from Southern Cali (Corona to be exact)

Joey,

Thank you so much for spearheading this effort. If I hadn't just sold my Elise, I would be all over this.

I'd love a wider body on my Elise. Unfortunately, I'm too much of a wuss to risk $6000 without seeing it completed.

I'm pretty sure the 300RR car doesn't have detachable access panels, they just remove the whole front clam to get in there. The same goes for the Exige GT3 concept car (the bright orange one), there's no access panels in the front. We might explore incorporating quick-detach clamps for the front clam (see the 300RR fenders) to help reduce the headache of accessing what's under the panels.

Excellent. I think when it comes to the exige-style rear clam someone just has to be brave enough to donate one to be made. I believe that between the two cars the clams can be interchanged without too much difficulty.

Are you going to make longer wishbones like the 300RR? How are you going to move the wheels out?
