EDIT: Thinking of trimming a vacuum cleaner nozzle to fit the side of the shroud... something like this:
That's an idea. You can't just cut a 3" hole and graft a hose on there. LOL Not only that but attaching it to the side, I wonder if the incoming air would cause so much turbulence inside the shroud as to not help with cooling efficiency at all.

I've ordered 8 sets (4 matte and 4 wet finishes) I've been waiting to hear how long it will take to get here from Hong Kong. As soon as I hear something I'll be sure to let everyone here know.

Cost are $600 for matte and $550 for wet + shipping and handling.

cheers,
Jacob

Was there any luck in making a better looking solution to fit these to the exige using the elise scoop brackets? Maybe there was and I missed the post?

Would love a set if I could leave them grill-less and still look semi decent inside the scoop.

today i made a template from the wider scoop to use on the exige.it is the lower mount like the no drill elise.it takes the stock exige mount out of the airstream.also will look better than a stock exige.this is the best pic i could find that sows what it will look like.the lower bracket has tape on it to protect the anodizing.they are black.so you can se that this will look much better than stock.also better airflow through the scoop.i sent thomas at really light stuff a set for his exige and stock scoops.waiting on him to install them and report on the fit.the other option is the stand offs for the exige factory mounts.im sending a set to andy in cali to try.they are a nice lathe turned piece that should look good too.

Is some of that air being ducted to the engine and auxiliary components? I hope so...

Here you go...

Google Translate

Google Translate

I will be going to Tokyo end of next month to pick up one of there rear wings and the new lip/splitter from them... I would love to get the side scoops and rear hatch as well, but I'm not that well off atm and there prices are quite high especially with the crappy yen rate...
