Thumbs up 1st service at Sports and Specialist in NJ

Just got back from Sports and Specialist in NJ...worth the nearly 2 hour drive from my house (great day for a drive anyhow)....

had my 1k service done.....replaced my trashed wheel well liner...replaced my oil cooler sandwich plate...and a few other warranty things....

and they did the 25 hp SC reflash (ok I made that up)....

Went very smoothly and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the NY area... Plus they have some great cars in their showroom and lot

Yes they are great for service but do they have the unique car wash options HRM did?

Kinda funny / ironic how times turn around. A lot of people in NJ, including me would trek up to HRM for service, now everyone from up there is coming down past me and going down to S&S to get work done.

Jim knows his stuff and Nicole an Ed make you feel like part of the family. Worth the trip. Also, some good places to eat right nearby while the work is being done.

I paid ~$250 at HRM for my 1st service. It's basically an ECU dump and an oil change.

I had my 1000 mile service and and now looking how to remove scratches on the rear clam. I had a list of service issues and left with an explaination that "its a Lotus and thats how it is". Got an oil change and a bill for $605 ($150 cup holder included). The guys were great but just didn't do anything and damaged the clam for free.
