I just wanted to echo this - I have not had them work on my car, but I just ordered a 240 from them. So on the sales side so far (Rick Schneider in particular) has been totally on the ball. He keeps me updated, was a straight shooter during the purchase and really worked hard for my business. FVMC was a clear winner compared to the other dealers I contacted. I am glad to hear their work ethic also reflects in their other departments. Now... if we could only get them to move a little closer to me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, beautiful car!

The car looks beautiful. I am very envious .. but I will catch up some day! Please excuse my naivety .. but your avitar / signature reads "Minnesota Lotus" and the description says "Downtown Jaguar Lotus." .. why on earth are you sending your car to Chicago if you have such close association with Downtown Jaguar Lotus?

oh trust me. its not the dealer. 3/4 of that wait is for my header i ordered. PPE said i would get it 3 weeks ago and i had it wait there for two weeks before that. FVMC is incredibly fast. TJ is rushing the installation and shipping of my car when my header arrives. its been almost a 6 week wait for my header.

i just got my car back and it is unbelievable!

my new clutch is insane. they told me it is very touchy when i got it and they were right. it took a hour or two to get the feel of it. i did stall when i first got in it. it feels way different then stock. it is a much better clutch once you get the feel of it.

the intake makes a great sound at low rpms. it mixes great with the exhaust sound.

the sport ecu is great. im glad i got this, it feels so much faster in the first few gears. this is the way it should have been from factory. it makes the car feel a lot more powerful when the cam kicks in.

the ride is a touch stiffer and harder but the handling does feel alot better then stock. i also like the new height of it. it makes the car look even better.

the shifter reinforcer is way better then stock. the shifts are all a lot more positive which helps the feel of the shifter.

and finally, the header and exhaust. the sound of the exhaust is addicting. it is unlike any other car i have heard and it screams once you get on the second cam! i love the popping sounds when you shift or left off the gas. it even pops on the upshifts! it doesn't drone either it just sounds powerful.

TJ and FVMC are amazing and i will be back for my future mods. i will post some new pics and try to post these videos i shot on the tunnel.

Congrats! Even though I like the Forcedfed carbon fiber wing better, I'm loving the way you're doing your build! And I'm glad you decided to go with the top end oriented 4-1 PPE race header . The 2zz is all about the top end. Unlike 4-2-1 mid-rage oriented header designs, you will see exponential gains instead of loss in the top end, and you can tune even greater gains all throughout the powerband versus just running a mid-range oriented header. I had to do a bit of teasing here with the Celica GTS PPE race header for Bane to go and get them made for the Lotus . This is a full stainless steel setup:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ssmidpipe2.jpg

Now I just hope my 06 Lotus Elise owning friend orders one instead of the cheaper and more mid-range oriented Weapon R 4-2-1 design. See about going piggyback or standalone for a custom tune to make the most out of your mods when going SC!!!
