What made you decide to spend a small fortune on carbon panels? if it's for the weight you might just as well pee (or leave your coin change at home) before driving off. Never understood that stuff. Hellish expensive and the car won't go any faster.

yeah you make some good points. i just love the look of the carbon panels. i do take a try and take a crap before my drives which saves more weight. i know they are insanely expensive but i have a little extra money lying around.

the carbon diffuser does add extra downforce then the stock which helps too

After looking at your first photo, I thought you turned your Elise into a golf cart. The car looks nice.

Tunnels + PPE header + aftermarket exhaust =

I had the Von hep exhaust on my car for a long time prior to building the PPE header... the sound is night and day and you can't even come close to capturing what it sounds like in a video.

Sorry again for the long lead time on the header but I hope it was worth the wait

You must be new here, you'd be suprised how far people go to reduce even ounces

Certainly not new here, lol. I removed my radio and speakers, inserted a bike battery. $40 and I saved about as much as you can do with $5000 of carbon. Of course I got a version without electrical windows, aircon, cup holder, carpets, cat etc.

Weight is the key to performance in this car, but 80% of carbon stuff is for looks, not for weight saving. Only wings and roofs make some sense in carbon as the location (high up) is as important as the weight. If somebody likes to dump serious money in a car I got no problem with it, as long as beginners understand what actually makes the car go faster.

...the crank windows weigh more than the powered units...that said, i plan to switch my own power windows out for cranks because i find the latter both more elegant and more functional - want to trade?..
