You and the other members here helped me get over THAT hurdle not long ago. The clutch job was a success, thanks for the encouragement.

Sorry to hear about LBH, I took my car to them once before Calabasas opened up. Ever since then I've taken it there, even if it is mostly random parts I order from them now. Sergio and the other service guys are all great, they deserve a chance.

Randy is spot on. I had dinner with Arnie Johnson a couple of weeks ago and we talked about dealers. Arnie is looking to get back several dealers good for the Lotus brand and rid thmselves of others. More changes coming.

What about the O'Gara coach company on Olympic in Beverly Hills? Lotus would be a great fit. (They sell Lambo, Rolls, Bentley, Aston Martin, Bugatti & Spyker) These guys took over the Lambo franchise from Keuylian and took over the Rolls dealership a few years back. I met some of the guys there while doing a story at their dealership. Seemed like a good group.

They are very nice people but they are overflowing with stock.

Look right nearby in garages and parking lots...there are TONS of Lambos, Aston Martins, etc. all over the place...

No service bays at that location...

I don't think they'll go for Lotus. But they could!

Alan Strommer who is the brainchild behind all the great experiences people have been praising about. Alan is currently at Dent Werks located not too far from the original Lotus Beverly Hills dealership.

I recently saw him and he seems to be doing great. Many of his regular customers who went to him when Lotus of Beverly Hills were around, they still continue to brings in their Lotus to him time and time again.

Here is the location and I believe this is where you set your appointments to bring in your car. The place is called:

Dent Werks
8630 W. Pico Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90035

That's great news. I hope when a new dealership is established in LA, Lotus will recommend him to the new dealer.

Hey guys -

Allen is the best, and we're all looking forward to supporting him wherever he lands, but he is not working for Dent Werks. Being the guy he is, he's taking care of a couple of customer cars that Dent Werks is working on.

Hopefully when Allen lands, it will be where he's best - with Lotus.

Exclamation

I am retracting what I said in my earlier post. The information I provided turned out to be inaccurate. Allen is not working at Dent Werks. He was just there visiting a friend who runs the shop.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard that Stephan the lead tech of LBH was in fact working for DentWerks. Can anyone confirm this?

That is correct, Stephan from LBH is now working as an employee of Dent Werks. He's there to take care of most non-warranty Lotus work. Dent Werk's location makes it convenient for previous LBH customers who don't want to drive all the way to Calabasas for non-warranty service.
