Whats the story with Lotus of Austin.

I know they are closed now but dose anyone know the history.

Based on the length of time since Lotus of Austin closed, I don't expect we'll see a new dealership opening in Austin anytime soon. If it was financially viable, I think one of the major dealers would be interested esp. since I bet in come relatively cheaply compared to other marques.

It doesn't really suprise me since it seems like the normal demand (after the initial rush on elises) can be satisfied with two dealerships in Texas, maybe three at the most.

This really sucks for me since I live about 2:30 hours from San Antonio, 2:30 hours from Houston, and 2:30 hours from Ft. Worth!
