Lotus expands to Sydney, Australia

From Lotus Enthusiast, courtesy of Lotus Cars Australia:

Lotus Cars Australia has found a new home in Sydney, teaming with the highly reputable Trivett Group, Australia’s largest prestige automotive dealer. The new partnership promises to further highlight the Lotus brand at an exciting time for the marque, showcasing Lotus product to a substantially broader audience in a leading showroom in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

As Australia’s largest market, Sydney is crucially important for Lotus Cars Australia. The Trivett Group has been selected as the sole Sydney-based official sales and servicing outlet for Lotus Cars Australia, which will join the existing Australia-wide Lotus dealer network.

The announcement comes at an exciting time, with the impending Australian reveal of the Lotus Evora at the Melbourne International Motor Show later this month and arrival of the first Evora customer cars later this year. The new partnership with Trivett will place the Lotus range in front of thousands each day at Trivett’s 52-58 William Street, Sydney premises and will be fully operational by early March 2009.

Jonathan Stretton, General Manager Lotus Cars Australia, has welcomed Trivett into the Lotus dealer family: “In the lead-up to the major launch of the Evora, it’s both appropriate and encouraging that Lotus will be working in Sydney with such a professional and highly regarded organisation such as Trivett.

Being located alongside Bentley in the William Street Showroom is prime positioning for both brands.

"In addition, the Trivett Group has established itself over 25 years as a premium brand, much like Lotus, and we are naturally delighted to be a part of each other’s future. Lotus offers a balance between sports and performance that is a harmonious addition to complement Trivett’s existing brands."

Greg Duncan, Executive Chairman said "Trivett is delighted to represent Lotus in Sydney. We are proud to again represent Lotus in the Sydney market after doing so over a decade ago. It is fitting that as we celebrate 25 years of prestige motoring in 2009, we are reunited with such a dynamic brand that has been a part of our past—and will now be a part of our future.

However, I can assure you that we don’t only measure our success by the brands we represent. Our success comes from achieving customer loyalty—and we work hard in every business to ensure we earn it every day. We remain committed to representing only the world’s finest motoring brands simply because Trivett customers expect more choice." said Duncan.

The Trivett Group stable includes 15 brands such as Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Harley Davidson and Bugatti employing a staff of more than 500, proving "prestige motoring" really is about the company you keep.

The Trivett Group currently sells over 7000 vehicles every year with a turnover of half a billion dollars.
