Well, I'm trying to sell it, but not very actively. My wife doesn't want me to sell it at all !.. I'm familiar with Franks cars !! One of the nicest Europas I've ever seen !

I would imagine it wouldn't pass smog stuff..... it's got two Weber 45 DCOE sidedrafts instead of the fuel injection; and 2 inch SS leading to a ( not too restrictive ) Magnaflow "muffler" ( it's really loud )

A 1974 vehicle might be exempt from Calif. smog testing. I know there's a cutoff date for that, and it's right around that year. DMV should have that info.

You are correct. '76 and earlier are exempt from testing. Been out of the country for a few years and I seem to remember reading about people trying to register an MGB with a missing smog pump and being denied. Not sure what year that car was.

The DMV website states that any out of state car needs to be inspected by the DMV. It does not state what is inspected. It could only be the VIN and mileage, not sure.

Wow..have 3 people interested right now !! the winter blues special price will be anything 16,000 or over. price is NOT negotiable below that; this price is good through Mar 31st...then I will be actively trying to sell it on the Ford Focus boards....but I'd rather sell it to someone who knows Lotus cars.

.... I figure the end of March, I'll market it heavily on the Focus / Zetec forums.... should move at a higher price, BUT I'd rather sell it to a LOTUS person who will at least know how to drive it.....that kind of means more than selling it to Joe Schmoe Ricer.

Does this car have a roll bar or roll cage in it? Looks like there is something behind the seats in one of the pictures.
BTW car is beautiful.

No roll bar / cage... what you see is a chrome moly harness bar for the 4 point harnesses.
