FS: 2005 Arctic Silver Elise - LotusTalk

For sale, 2005 Lotus Elise with 12900 miles and the following options:

- Touring package (leather, electric windows, etc.)
- Sport package (wheels, suspension, 2nd oil cooler, etc.)
- Hard top
- Starshield (except front clam, see below)

I am located in Simpsonville, SC, just south of Greenville.

The car was produced in July 2005 and sold in September 2005 at Criswell in MD. I bought the car with 2300 miles in May, 2006. The car has been in two minor incidents. In September 2006, the front clam and left headlight assembly were replaced by Lotus of Durham after a minor off-road incident. In September 2007, I hit a tire tread that put a 3" crack in the clam near the radiator inlet that was easily repaired.

The 1200 mile service was completed by Criswell and the 7500 mile service by Lotus of Durham. I've done intermediate oil changes myself. The car has zero issues after a great deal of effort to resolve numerous small issues (stained dash replaced under warranty, leaky windows adjusted, rattles eliminated, sticking ignition lock, etc.)

The car is 100% original with two exceptions. I replaced the Alpine speakers with Infinity speakers (of the same size, so no drilling, etc.) Also, I replaced the A048's with Michelin PE2's front and PS2's rear. This is a great setup, by the way, still very neutral but with a little more rear grip (wet and dry.)

I've thoroughly enjoyed the car, but with kids, I just don't use it enough. I thought that I'd take it to the track, but I haven't had the time or motivation. It's time to return to a 2+2. The current price is $34300. Please feel free to post or PM any questions.
