Here are a couple pics taken today of the crack.
![]() ![]() As you can see, the side of the front licence plate holder took the brunt of the hit. Don't mind the tape goo. The crack continues up where the tape is sitting. It was sticking pretty well and I didn't want to mess with it. As for the girls coming with the car, I can ask them when I have a buyer lined up. If they aren't game I can find more. Here are a few others. {Seems I get a lot more hits due to pics of my friends than the car...} ![]() |

Have I had the Cams checked? Not unless they started checking them randomly during tune ups & oil changes. I've had absolutely no mechanical issues with the car. As a reminder the service manager at the local Lotus dealership is happy to speak to the buyer about the car before purchase.

That's a good price on the car. I did repair work on the clam of my first car, it can be done. But it's forever fragile afterwards. Try to get a colormatch paint and you can make the look pretty decent for less than $50. If i was in the market, I'd be all over this one.
The front grill is around $50, too, so for $100 and 4 hours of sweat equity, if that, it's look damn good.

by chance, is this the infamous car that had the clams rebuilt by the surfboard shop guy? and the car (previous owner) made famous on youtube? or simply put - is the rear clam undamage / repaired?
