FS: Magnetic Blue/Biscuit, touring, hard top. 3K miles
I am looking to sell from a realization that I won't use this car like it's intended. I expected to get back to my track-junkie days, but my family life will not permit it. I've been in denial, but after having owned this car since August, and not taking it to the track once, I think I should accept the truth.
I bought in Ohio, and drove to Texas for half of its miles. I cared for it and broke it in as if I would own it until the end. I had a couple of "Lotus" glitches early on, but found it was more me as an owner than the car (issue with window height, etc.) It is a 2005 that has touring, star shield, hard top, immaculate paint, 3,100 miles (approximately), and zero paint issues. I am anal-retentive when it comes to cars. Pics: ![]() Asking $39,000. Last edited by Scott in Houston; 02-13-2007 at 08:21 AM. |

Free bump for a nice car. Great minds think alike; bought at MAG/magnetic blue/didn't drive it as it was intended.
Best of luck on the sale.

![]() Yes, asking $39,000. I know what the market's like on these cars, so I'm willing to talk, but let's start there. |

I was excited. It pains me to sell it. I'm trying to be a grown-up for once in my life though. ![]() I just can't, in good conscience, let this $40,000 car sit in my garage un-used for the most part. I have planned on doing 3 track events, and had to bail on all of them. I planned on 4 auto-x's, and have to cancel on those too. I don't see my schedule getting any better... It's a real bummer. I guess I can buy another when I realize that the time exists again, but I have no car. |

I'm sorry that your situation doesn't allow for much fun in the Lotus, and that you have to move on. I'm about to move away for half a year and mine's just going to sit in my parents garage, a crying shame... at least in my case I'll get to come back to it one day, sorry to see you're moving on in a more permanant way
Best of luck to you though! |

Scott and I have been corresponding over the past week and a half, but sadly we weren't able to reach a price agreement. Just wanted to give him a bump as the car is fantastic looking, not to mention Scott's a great guy to correspond with.
Good luck, Scott! - Allen. |
