Why don't we do a Lotustalk chain drive, similar to running the olympic flame cross country. I'll take the Mountain west portion.

That's good info, Mark. Various improvements/upgrades were incorporated into cars by the factory during the ~ 4-year production run, and more of those show up at the higher build numbers. Your pricing seems pretty competitive, but in the end, the value is going to depend on the history of the car--in particular who did the original build and what sort of maintenance has been done during the time the car has been on the road.

What a great idea! But I think you're too far north! Unless you wanna come down to Colorado and tag team! I'll do Colorado to Las Vegas. Then, I can visit the folks and fly home. Seriously...now where's that drooling emoticon?

Buy it, Randy.

Yes, you would need an SB100, same as you would need for the Toniq and I need for the seven.
You can only get it on the first business day of the new year, but once you get it you're done and the car would be exempt from emissions, etc.

As I understand it, you have to have all your ducks in a row in order to get it taken care of, so you have to plan ahead

Well if you hurry we can convoy together, my Seven is in NJ

(actually it was not much more to ship it, so went that route)

Noble is sweet, had a brief drive in one and it was a rocket ship, when the boost comes on hold on

I have a racing deal with SPEED World Challenge at Lime Rock May 24-26. Hmm.. maybe fly into Connecticut on May 23. Drive the Noble to Lime Rock. Leave Lime Rock on the 27th.

Or maybe look at Watkins Glenn race on June 5th. Fly in, pick up the car on June 1st. Drive to Detroit. Go to Watkins Glenn for 4-5 days.

Head back on 80 to Chicago.

Head back to SoCal via Route 66. Take my time.

Wow, that would be pretty awesome if Randy joined the nobility. Remember, though, there's no "boot" so you need to fit your stuff behind the seats (unlike an Elise, though, there's actual room there) or in the passenger footwell.

BTW, California is the best place to own a Noble because of Turbohoses in Livermore. These guys are now the de facto authority on the car.

Let me know if you end up making it out to watkins glen, I'll make a trip down there to check out the car! Plus my brother works at rooster fish brewery in town, so we can tip back a few after the race if you've got time

We're having a Noble track day at Thunderhill June 17th and I know that Turbohoses has arranged a transporter to bring out some Nobles from other parts of the country. Perhaps this would be a way to get the car to California.
