If your seriously considering buying an Elise you really should take the time to dig into this one, great car, great owner; if only I didn't already have one. Wonderfully set up considering how little it's spent at the track! Can I talk you into a suspension swap before you ditch it, I'm sure someone would appreciate a track pack on the Elise...

I know this car and also love it!! the owner Shon (sp??) is also cool as can be. sad to see another one go. I just hope it can stay in the Chicago area.

By the way, in my PM I forgot to ask. Can you send me pics of the starshield damage and maybe pics of the front clam and parts that get wear and tear? More pics the merrier.

Was this used in rain? any water leakage?

Will this car allow a 6ft tall 260 pound guy to wear a helmet and not hit the roof? Would I need to add a roll cage to take it on tracks if my head is over the roof level with helmet?

Can't wait for more info. Feed me seymore!

Ryan, I just got your PM and emailed you a response. I see you've got photo requests - I'll send those to you tomorrow, or maybe on Saturday (daylight always helps). I don't know about the fitment issue - it really depends. I've had tall skinny guys not fit, and tall wide(r) guys fit just fine... Rollbar rules vary, but I think it's safe to say that if your head is over the roofline, 1) you're not gonna fit in the car, and 2) a roll cage isn't gonna help.

Car has been driven in the rain (not willingly or frequently), but no leaks.

Sector 111 xenon headlights
Ohlins double-adjustable suspension (much less harsh than stock sport)
6-point Schroth harnesses
Sector111 v-force harness bar
Sector111 toe-link reinforcement brace
Sector111 front and rear tow hooks (never used!)
Sector111 CRD camera mount
custom lift point kit (makes jacking a breeze instead of a chore)
Multivex side mirrors (essential for eliminating blind spots)
Quicksilver exhaust
Odyssey PC625 battery
Polyurethane engine mount inserts
Green air filter
Front chin protectors
Brand new Falken Azenis RT-615 rear tires

Total cost of modifications alone is over $6000! It may be possible to remove some of the modifications - please contact me to discuss specifics.

And let's not forget the COMPLETE Lotus factory service manual on CD, owner's manual and tool kit. The car is also pre-wired for a DL-1 data logger (logger and display NOT included).

I am the second owner, no accidents, garaged in winter with a battery tender. The car has a few scratches in the Starshield, but is in otherwise great condition! I have all of my records and receipts, including recent alignment and corner balance.
